Dean Message

   Our Faculty was established in 2013 under the auspices of Fırat University, one of the most esteemed and long-standing universities in our country. Educational activities commenced during the 2015-2016 academic year. As of the 2024-2025 academic year, the Faculty of Dentistry at Fırat University continues to deliver education and training with 20 academic staff members, 61 postgraduate specialty students, and 535 undergraduate dentistry students.

   Fırat University Faculty of Dentistry is committed to providing education at national and international standards through its highly qualified academic staff and scholarly activities. Dentistry is a discipline that combines science and art, requiring personal attributes such as compassion, patience, empathy, and a profound respect for humanity. Our Faculty is dedicated to nurturing future dentists with these qualities while equipping them with the confidence, communication skills, and ethical principles necessary to excel in the modern era.

   Oral and dental health form the cornerstone of overall health and significantly influence the quality of life. Dentistry, as a profession, encompasses not only therapeutic practices but also preventive and educational aspects. Our students, as future dental professionals, carry the critical responsibility of safeguarding both individual and public health. By sharing our expertise and advancements in oral and dental health with society, we firmly believe in contributing to the creation of healthier generations.

   In light of the significant academic progress achieved in a relatively short period, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all members of our dedicated academic and administrative staff, whose tireless efforts continue to support our educational endeavors and public health services with unwavering commitment.
